Ingredients:

  • 2 handfuls spinach or leafy greens
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2/3 - 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 T almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper 
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.


Replacements:

If you have allergies with the pepper try ginger or turmeric as this has great anti-inflammatory properties as well. 


If you don't have almond butter, just throw 6 almonds in and blend well.  


Any nut allergies use hemp milk or coconut milk and instead of almonds use sunflower or pumpkin seeds as an alternative.
